Even when “amicable”, a divorce can be a very stressful time in someone’s life. The legal details may be overwhelming, but having a compassionate attorney by your side is not only beneficial throughout the process but also for the realities afterwards.
I feel strongly that part of my job as a divorce attorney is to leave families in a better place when they leave me than when they walked in my door. My goal is to minimize the conflict between parties as much as possible, but never escalate it.
If you do not have minor children, the primary focus of your divorce will be the allocation of property, assets, and debts.
If you have minor children, we will work on Parenting Plans, child support, and property division.
